Q: Why Tonka Lily?

A: I named my business Tonka Lily after my dogs—Tonka, a 128-pound Golden Lab, and Lily, the sweetest Bernese Mountain Dog.

A: They are available at Empowered Med Spa in Tacoma: 1310 S Union Ave a202, Tacoma, WA 98405.

Q: How long have you been making candles?

A: I started making candles in 2017.

Q: How are your candles/melts different?

A: I make all the candles/melts with US-grown soy wax and organic hemp wicks, which are free from heavy metals and pesticides.. I use clean fragrance oils that avoid carcinogens, mutagens, and a variety of toxins, are formulated without phthalates, and are made without ingredients on the California Prop 65 list.

Q: Do you make custom candles?

A: Yes, I do offer custom candles. I’d be happy to create a scent, style, or design that fits exactly what you’re looking for.

Q: What else do you make?

A: I’m excited to be developing new patterns for one-of-a-kind quilted bags and accessories, as well as a new line of handmade soaps—crafted with clean, high-quality ingredients and materials. Stay tuned—coming soon!

Q: Do you have another job?

A: I do, I’m a mobile massage therapist, and I truly have the best clients. Unfortunately, I don’t have space for any new clients right now.
